  5. Safety inspection of heat exchanger
  6. Confirm overall condition and age of equipment
  7. Confirm proper filter size and install standard 1″ or 2″
  8. Check integrity & construction of return platform to ensure it meets safety standards
  9. Confirm and inspect interior and exterior upper and lower combustion vents for obstruction
  10. Inspect blower wheel condition
  11. Clean blower motor vents and oil motor (if applicable)
  12. Inspect shaft end play
  13. Test furnace run assist condition
  14. Vacuum and remove debris from furnace platform

Full A/C Check

  2. Confirm thermostat accuracy. Calibrate if needed/possible
  3. Inspect supply & return air grills for obstructions
  4. Inspect ducts for obstructions
  5. Visually inspect accessible ductwork & plenum for proper insulation
  6. Visually inspect accessible ductwork & plenum for breaks, construction, insulation & air leaks
  7. Inspect overall ductwork condition
  8. Inspect attic insulation
  9. Perform static pressure test (every other year)
  10. Clean condensate line with Co2
  11. Confirm outdoor unit efficiency
  12. Confirm overall condition and age of outdoor unit
  13. Visually inspect for refrigerant leaks at outdoor unit
  14. Confirm unit has refrigerant lock-out caps to meet safety and code standards
  15. Oil outdoor fan (if applicable) and check for proper blade balance/vibration
  16. Perform amp draw test on outdoor fan motor
  17. Perform amp draw test on compressor
  18. Confirm line set at outdoor unit for proper insulation
  19. Cursory refrigerant level check using line temperature method
  20. Digital test of refrigerant with precise computer gauge for low operating costs and max performance (performed every other year)
  21. Tighten electrical connections that disconnected and electrical contacts
  22. Confirm fuses and circuit breaks meet manufactures specs
  23. Inspect for excessive pitting, overheating and burnt contacts
  24. Inspect and test outdoor run assist
  25. Inspect and test start assist
  26. Hydro wash outdoor coil – we do not recommend using any chemical cleaners
  27. Inspect corrosion inhibitors
  28. Ensure compressor crankcase heaters are operational
  29. Observe outdoor operating noise level
  30. Confirm outdoor unit is properly leveled
